The city, in which you can see a man shot and lying on the floor bleeding, a woman who is watching the scene with a corn in her hand, a weird looking, almost nude schizophrenic talking to herself and a couple walking on the street without caring about the crowd at the same time. Grotesque, absurd, dadaist, surreal, depressed, paranoid and alone.

Happiness

Drama, struggling with the problems and losing concentration. It is the time when these don't happen, when there are no problems. It is the time to be far away from the "reality".

Cheap and saucy.

Minimalism

Striking simplicity.

However, in today's world of graphic arts, people are only interested in the "simplicity" part. They define it as "typography" when they write a text in Helvetica Bold to a 50x70cm paper and the final result as a "poster". Graphic design is transforming to a discipline where there is no form, no balance, no grid and no idea, just full of Josef Müller-Brockmann or Wim Crouwel.

David Carson says; "There is a very thin line between 'simple, pure and powerful' and 'simple, pure and boring'." and it's my favorite.

CocoRosie

Sincere, harmonious.

If you can't stand both total silence and noise, crowd or traffic, and if you only want to think without doing anything and if you don't want to listen to music, then you can listen to CocoRosie.

America

I don't know much about the daily life but I'm almost sure that I would have an happier professional life there.

Future

Not 20, 30 or 500 years later, just the following day...
While we have inconsistencies even between yesterday and today, it's ridiculous to think of the long term.

Courage

To fail continuously without giving up. To be ready to lose. To be able to choose. And to be able to throw everything away and start again...

Ofisten öğle yemeği için İstiklal Caddesi'ne çıktığınızda, vurulmuş, kanlar içinde yerde yatan bir adamı, o adamın başında mısır yiyerek olayları izleyen bir kadını, yanlarından geçen yarı çıplak ve kendisiyle konuşan bir şizofreni ve kalabalıkla ilgilenmeden el ele yürüyen bir çifti aynı sakinlikle izleyebildiğiniz bir şehir. Grotesk, absurd, dadaist, surreal, depresif, paranoyak ve yalnız.

Mutluluk

Drama, Sorunlarla boğuşmak, dikkat dağınıklığı. Bunlar olmadığı zaman, hiçbir problemin olmadığı zaman, suratına çarpacak olan “gerçek”ten uzak kalma hali.

“İnsanoğlu, evren denilen uzay ve zamanla sınırlanmış bir bütünün parçasıdır. Ucuz ve şımarık.

Minimalizm

Yalınlığın çarpıcılığı. Ancak günümüz grafik tasarım dünyasında bu tanımın sadece “yalınlık” kısmı ile ilgileniyor insanlar. 50x70 cm'lik bir kağıda Helvetica Bold kullarak yazdıkları bir yazıya “tipografi”, ortaya çıkan ürüne de “poster” diyorlar. Gün geçtikçe form, denge, grid ve fikirden yoksun Josef Müller-Brockmann veya Wim Crouwel'larla dolu bir grafik tasarım dünyasına dönüşüyoruz.

David Carson'ın çok sevdiğim bir sözü var; "Yalın, sade ve güçlü ile yalın sade ve sıkıcı arasında çok ince bir çizgi vardır".

20, 30 veya 500 yıl değil, sadece bir sonraki gün. Dün ve bugün arasında bile tutarsızlıklar varken, daha uzun vadeyi düşünmek anlamsız.
